Strategically located in the heart of Singapore’s Civic District and surrounded by historic landmarks, Capitol Singapore comprises three conservation buildings – Stamford House, Capitol Building and Capitol Theatre – and is directly connected via the basement level to the City Hall Mass Rapid Transit Interchange Station, which serves the North-South Line and East-West Line.

Capitol Piazza comprises a four-storey retail podium that plays host to a myriad of premium, large-format lifestyle concept stores and new-to-market retail and food and beverage outlets. Linking the three conserved buildings is the Arcade@The Capitol Kempinski, an air-conditioned sheltered promenade that provides locals and tourists with a unique alfresco dining ambience in line with the Kempinski experience of trendy cafés, chic bars, bistros and world-class restaurants. The Arcade, housed in the conserved Capitol Building, stands out with a string of world celebrated luxury brands taking presence in street front heritage stores and new-to-market brands.

The beautifully restored Capitol Theatre houses one of South-east Asia’s largest single screens with over 970 plush seats. It is equipped with South-east Asia’s first advanced rotational floor system and state of the art audio and visual systems, and is the only multi-functional theatre in Singapore that can host musicals, concerts, plays, movie screenings, conferences, seminars and weddings. Capitol Theatre is also Singapore’s first venue with direct ground level access to the theatre, providing a grand and glamorous entrance for any red carpet event.

The luxurious hotel is housed in the restored Capitol Building and Stamford House and features 157 guest rooms and suites, and leading international restaurant 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung, a restaurant concept by the three-Michelin-star celebrity chef, Alvin Leung. The holistic Kempinski experience extends to the Arcade@The Capitol Kempinski, where an array of quintessentially Kempinski gastronomic delights and exquisite selection of culinary treasures enchant tourists and locals.
