The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has extended the tender closing date for the residential site at Tampines Avenue 10 by two weeks.

Originally, the tender was scheduled to close on Tuesday, July 2.

But this has now been extended to close on July 16.

URA said the move is to provide more time for prospective tenderers to take into consideration new rules introduced by the Monetary Authority of Singapore when submitting their bids.

The central bank announced new rules on Friday for MAS-regulated financial institutions to enhance credit underwriting practices for property loans granted to individuals and encourage financial prudence among borrowers.
